Program objectives PhD in Teaching and Technology Concentration in Music Education designed to develop the professional career who are knowledgeable and competent to manage and lead the instructional process with integration of the instructional delivery and technology; and to develop professional researchers who are competent to conduct innovative research systematically to guide the practice of teaching and technology in music education.


This program is suitable for educator who wish to has knowledge of and understands the principles of music and music education. Learning from this course you will have a solid understanding of the four major components of music education.

MODE

On Campus and Hybrid Learning

Due to current travel restrictions, this program will temporarily be delivered using a mixture of on-campus, remote and multi-modal classes to support and engage all students, from all parts of the world.

DURATION 

A candidate may graduate with the minimum period of 3 years and may extend to a maximum of 5 academic years.

STUDY SYSTEM

1st Semester : June-October

2nd Semester : November- March

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADMISSION
  1. Earn a Master’s degree from an accredited institution

  2. Show proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS scores) or take the English Admission Examination for Graduate Program conducted by the University

  3. Remit fees for interview and English Proficiency Test (in case of taking the English Admission Examination by the University)
